About Me
A bridge between faith, clinical expertise, and real-life experience
Many people know me as a therapist, minister, author, speaker, and founder of Accepted Family Therapy Center. But before any of those titles, I was a person learning how to navigate life's challenges while discovering who God created me to be. My journey has included seasons of feeling overlooked, undervalued, abandoned, and uncertain. Through faith, personal growth, education, and healing, I learned that our struggles do not define us—they can become the foundation for our purpose. For more than 20 years, I have served in ministry, working with children, youth, college students, families, and couples. For over 16 years, I have specialized in helping couples navigate communication challenges, relationship transitions, conflict, infidelity recovery, forgiveness, and rebuilding trust. Today, I help individuals, couples, and families discover that same truth. Whether in the counseling room, on a stage, or through my writing, my passion is helping people understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create lives rooted in purpose, acceptance, and connection. I believe every person deserves a place where they feel seen, heard, valued, and accepted.
What Therapy with Me is Like
I primarily use Narrative and Bowen Family Systems Therapy, integrating Structural and Solution-Focused approaches as needed. Therapy with me is a place of exploration, insight, and growth. Together, we'll identify patterns, build practical skills, and develop solutions. I use real-life examples and psychoeducation to help clients create meaningful, lasting change.
